I would be down to help pay for one or possibly two given the size of the servers. Too bad they aren't a little cheaper because of that size issue, though :/.
we're gonna need $17.95 a month to cover this. You can pay via Clanpay. Donate some cash, ya scrubs! Too often the most generous members of our group carry the burden for people who play more often but never chip in. If everybody chipped in $5-$10 we'd be set. If you play, help out once in a while! Same goes for TF2 account. Same clanpay link.
Just curious - know up front I'm not against the idea - but what do we gain from our own L4D server other than publicity? If we can set up matches that are friends-only already, what's the benefit in having our own?
*I did just see that we have the last two campaigns in versus, that's awesome*
But anything else? I can't recall having any lag problems on current servers, the only real inconvenience seems to be waiting on the dedicated servers.
You guys have played a bit more than I, so maybe you know something that I don't.

Last night, last 2 servers we tried sucked (lag, loss of connection) and other we have tried before sucked also. We wanted something of our own we could tinkle with and it's hosted by the same people that host our current TF2 which we haven't had many problems with and latency has been pretty good.

Benefits:
latency issues on many public servers
many public servers have settings changed (alltalk, and other various settings which valve has considered cheats, but provided no way of allowing players to not go to these servers through the matchmakers)
sometimes server admins on pub servers like to jump in and start changing settings or spawning infected as we are playing
I'd say at least 50% of the public servers I've played on had horrible lag or severe disconnect issues. If and when we did find a good server you could hear me in game telling the admin, "thank you for a good server."
I can't recall having any lag problems on current servers
I have been killed 4 or 5 times due to lag, and have been unceremoniously disconnected mid-game at least three times in my 14.5 hours of play. I heartily endorse this move. Nothing kills your night like putting half an hour into a game only to have it drop everyone.

Edit: Oh wait, maybe they are cheaper :s.
Oh wait... has no moneys. Need job.

YOU MUST BE A MEMBER OF THE {IC} STEAM GROUP TO EVEN SEE IT. If you want to play on it, ask for an invite into the IC group!

By gods, man, what did you use to tinkle with before now?!

We have the ability to do this, yes. This will come in time and will require everyone to download a small map pack for it.If you were my sekkrit santa i'd hook you up.
