    Also, still waiting on the server to get the latest patch. I'll get working on it again once I get back home after 5.

    In-Chipped I did. Sorry, I hadn't thrown any Bennies after the servers earlier all. Rexxar and I use the hell out of the TF2 server and I'm sure we'll play LOTS on the L4D one now that it's up.

    I was tryingto join the IC L4D server and it keeps telling me "your string table differs from the servers"?

    Any ideas??

    Had that issue, did you download the mappack? If you have, make sure you've unpacked everything where it needs to get to, including the .cfg's.

    What kinda hardware is in these gaming servers? CPU, ram, HD, MB, PS, OS, etc.

    I would expect the hardware to consist of a CPU, some RAM, some sort of mass storage device (most likely a hdd of some sort), a component to connect all of the devices (maybe a motherboard), a power supply to give energy to the system, and then (although this isn't technically considered hardware, it is a valuable part of the system) maybe a software layer stored on the storage devices to provide an interactive and operational layer between the motherboard system and the user (an Operating System like Windows ME should work), and then...well that should about cover it.
