I like, man. It's like polished ghetto now. Turned out great, and none of that useless bulkiness as in the Antec Skeleton case. Pure functionality in its most basic form.
HDD procured. Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 300 GB. The trade item for a 900 from mas0n. Also, the 9600 from the egg is in the mail 2 days after this weekend; then we are rocking and rolling with Ubuntu and SMP. I really am eggcitied to see the ppd numbers off this 9600, I am going to try a 2.5GHz oc out of the box.

I think you'll get in 3ghz range with the cpu. I may be mistaken but I think those BE of the x2's do 3.0 to 3.2 fairly regularly. Or have you changed cpu's from your first post?

There is still a video card to be ordered for this so I can run a GPU2 client, its going to be NVidia because it will work in linux with that client. I am leaning towards a 9800 GTX+. When I get some more work done on it I will have final pictures up because I had to cut some zip ties and use SATA power adapters from EVGA cause the Ultra ones would not stay in for me. I am folding on it and this thing is almost dead silent, unless you get close enough to hump it.
Well, it kicks my current pc in the teeth in performance. Have you had any luck overclocking? Also, they better be good, how are the temperatures on everything?
It doesn't like to have the multiplier increased at all. I want to turn in a few WUs before I spend more time messing with OC. Temps no idea, bios is around 34C. I need to spend some time to find an easy good temp program for Linux or one that will work in WINE. Its doing about 15 minute iterations for folding, no idea the WU and I am to lazy to go back and check.
UPDATE: I got a thermal read going. 34-36C with 80-88% load on cores. Fan speed is 747. Something is 77C???. HDD is 38C
This is the last post related to the "build". I am going to clean up the area cause I have crap every where around this thing.
I don't have or want a monitor attached to this thing right now so I am using NetSupport to view it but it doesn't work really well in Linux so I use my laptop as a monitor and sit locally to change, it crashes a lot. It is set up on an Airlink AP which is going to get changed to a WRT54GL with Tomato and stick another computer on it.
I took some liberty with the sticker, non-official channels. Its freaking 35C running 75% load while folding.
Just cause I can

I want to run some benchs this weekend so they will be up, SuperPI and 3D. Thanks to all those that paid attention and mas0n for trades and ordering....and stupid linux issues.
