Eww, that's why. I mounted them in with the tabs ending up at the front of the case. Chieftec pictures lie! I'm having real trouble getting them back out again :(

(pictures of your setup would be awesome)
But, in the future, I'll try to use them with the metal tabs at the back.

I got a question for you, Dak:
How were you able to get the floppy drive in (assuming you use floppy) ? There are no drive rails, and theres no access to the screw-in spots. Right now, I'm using it externally because there's nothing to hold it in place inside the case.

This should explain a few things:

    DVD ROM/Burner Drive Rails:

    DVD Rom/Burner Drive Rails 2:

    Floppy Drive Cage:

    Floppy/HD Drive Cage locked:

    Floppy/Other Drives Front View:

    All Drives Front View:

The Floppy drive is flush with the rest of the front of the case. I hope this helps you out. Once you see the pics I'll probably take them off here, for bandwith reasons. -DaK

    EDIT: Pics removed.

Okay, You can take em off now :)

I think Directron screwed me over..

My case doesn't have those thumb-sized gaps on either side of the bay. Everything else is similar though, and I guess I mounted it right the first time.

I guess I'll have to check out Chieftec's sorry website pics, and try to get a grip on things.

Thanks for taking time out to upload those pics. I really appreciated it!! :)
