Mic Issues in Vista 64

I installed Vista64 last week to be able to use all my ram. I have had a great experience with it until I tried to use my mic to play tf2. I thought I properly configured it but I'm getting no sound transmission out of it except in the Microsoft test. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot

    Could be as simple as your microphone's drivers not being Vista64 compatible? Do you even know if the microphone manufacturer has issued V64 drivers? I bet they haven't.

    Fixed it. Driver issues. I'm dumb.
