EpIC Golfing '09

Last year 7 of us got up Friday morning and hit the local golf course. AND IT WAS A BLAST!

So, I'm(We're) Bringing it back again this year for the Expo EpIC (or is it EpIC Expo?)

So, who's in this year? I am

Date: June 26th, 2009 8am-12/1pm.

You will need to bring your own clubs, OR you can rent them at the golf course. But they are from 1945 and a driver looks like a hybrid 4iron (Just ask the_technocrat about them). Also do we want to do it at the same course? Maple Lane Golf Course. They had 3, 18 hole courses there. RyderOCZ and I have played on two of the three, and have enjoyed it.

    In without a doubt. One of the best events at the lan! :D

    Not sure what I will do about clubs this year yet. Ryder so you still have the spare set I used last year?

    I vote for the same course as it was extremely good and priced well.

    I'll make sure and bring 4 sleeves (at least haha) and another handle of whiskey this year.

    Yes, I should be able to have 1 maybe 2 loaner sets of clubs again this year.

    I forsee renting a van this year... in fact I just might (although less stylin than the SS) LOL

    Well if you bring that one set I had last year, I'll def call dibs on it. That offset driver was booming :D

    I'll play again. I enjoyed getting out-of-doors for a few hours in the middle of the event. I liked the course we were on last time. It was cheap, but it was much better kept than other cheap courses I've played on. I also liked the rules we played last time, so I think we should do that again. I'll triple check to bring my own glove this time. :)

    I can't make a definitive answer on my attendence until I find a stable job that'll pay for the ticket out there. Being laid off is awesome.

    I will definately do it if I make it there.

    How much is "Cheap"? I need to budget for the trip and I am always down for a walk around the golf coarse, I just don't really want to pay $100 to do so.

    If its $50ish, count me in.

    I do not have my receipts, but I believe it was 34 or 40 last year for 18 and cart.

    Too early for them to have 2009 rates up yet. I will post them here once we get to warmer weather and the course opens.

    Yeah I'd say 50 bucks is a good guess. It was pretty cheap considering it was 18 plus the cart.

    EpIC Golfing is SRS BZNS. Easily the best part of EpIC. (imo)

    I'd say there is a 60/40 chance right now I won't make the expo. Obviously if that happens I'll be out :\

    If you want to keep busy and lend a helping hand, I keep my balls in a sack and they often need to be cleaned and closely inspected. If I ask, you'll need to pop them out for me...
