Need a good webcam / video chat setup.

I just moved 2500 miles across the country to Los Angeles, and I'd like to set up something on my PC and on my sister's PC back home so I can see and talk with her kids and other family members.

Both computers are running XP Home.

Suggestions on webcams to use, what software, etc? I'll have to look at google and yahoo and see if they have something like this already.

We both have broadband cable connections too, so we should be able to run it on high quality.

How about using Skype and a Logitech QuickCam? That should easily take care of everything.

Hey, Tim, you should open a thread in the pub and tell us about your move. Maybe I missed it, but we (at least I) didn't even know you were pulling up the tent stakes.

Episode #154 of my webshow (see sig in original post here) tells all about it.

I don't know how long I'll be out here, maybe only a few months, or a year or 2 or more, but I had to get out of small town Pennsylvania for a while. And I'll look for better career opportunities while I'm here.

Skype gets my vote. Integrates very easy with webcams.. works very well.
