Reinstalling Vista but no CD

edited February 2009 in Science & Tech
is there anyway that I could have a fresh install of vista? I just got a external harddrive so i put all the media files and such that i wanted to save. I have a dell inspiron 1525, the D drive is partition as RECOVERY but i am not exactly sure how that works. Can someone help me with getting a fresh install of vista even though i do not have the CD.

If your system comes with a "hidden" recovery CD, you need to spam F11 or F12 when your PC is booting to access it. Many Dells will launch the recovery utility to reset the system back to its default condition.

It would help if you write down the options and tell us what they are. We can't select from thin air.
