i want to now is this model compatabile with winxp or not ???coz i want to buy it but with winxp not vista .

    Some of the newer laptops do have problems downgrading from Vista, in that sometimes the parts manufacturers have not bothered writing XP drivers for the devices. That particular model? I don't know.

    i heard all the new sony vaio is not compatible with winxp how come they sell a winxp free copy with it ????

    Sony lies. Though installing XP on it may be a trick because if I remember correctly it's using a sata disk drive that XP can't detect so you have to create a slipstreamed XP disk with the correct drive loader on it.

    the problems i dont have a sony driver for winxp.
