    1. Where did you get the USB driver?
    2. Is it a USB driver or mouse driver? applies to question 1 also
    3. Have you rebooted our computer? If not, please do so.

First shutdown your computer. Then unplug your mouse and turn your computer back on. Then plug your mouse back in to a different USB port.

Do you have other usb devices that are working or do none of yours work now. Also as it's been asked, where did you get this USB driver from and was it for your mouse or was it for your USB port.

No other USB devices are woking. Got the drivers from drivermax. The USB drivers were not for the mouse. They were just a general update of old drivers.

If all your USB ports are working with other USB devices then I suggest going to the manufacturer site for your mouse and getting their drivers.

...Or reinstalling the chipset drivers for the PC, which should contain USB drivers.
