I feel for the SCO employees who watched their senior management burn the company into the ground. I have zero sympathy for the senior management who decided to smoke the crack pipe before starting litigation. The expected end you see here before you.
I have been a reader of Grocklaw when I first heard about SCO saying major parts of Linux code were taken from Unix code. The mindset of a company that tries for the moon but falls short, but keeps trying when everyone but them sees the handwriting on the wall says there is a Don Quixote in them. Shrugs. Seems insane, but their lawyers are the ones keeping it going.
