Virtual Drive Software for Games?

So I'm Reloading some of my PC games onto my new Windows 7 build, and it suddenly occurs to me that I might want to try Damean Tools, or Alcohol so I don't have to constantly reach for the disks, at least on the titles that require it.

Anyone have any experience doing this? Suggestion, preferred software? Pitfalls (I understand certain games DRM schemes don't care for it).

Any freeware other than the two mentioned that the community may suggest?

I have about ten games or so that I am looking to load up, having them available at an instant would be nice.

I've always just used Deamon tools and never had an issue even on windows 7 for that matter.

What version do you use? Did you purchase a copy, or do you run some kind of freeware version?

How easy is it to use?

    Thanks.

I use the daemon tools lite version which is free for home/personal use.

Daemon Tools Lite is your best bet. I've had issues with PowerISO and Alcohol. Daemon Tools is the only one I've used that's worked constantly without errors.

This has also been my experience over the years. DT is lightweight and does everything I need; nothing I don't.
