I had hoped to order one and install it just before the LAN, but apparently I was foolish to wait. They look to sold out at most places.

If anybody sees one in stock somewhere reputable for $99-109, let me know!

Newegg had them in stock yesterday afternoon.

Seems ATI is having a problem getting them to market.

Bah, they're jacking up the price to match demand, too. Should have grabbed one when they were $99.

It wouldn't be a bad card to have, but the low power usage of the 4770 would help me out a little when it comes to full-time folding.

What, you mean concerning your power bill?

The 'egg has open box HD 4890s for $189. If you're planning on dual HD 4770s, the open box cards might be a better (and in stock) option.

Yup. And I have to admit there's just something about the total package of these cards that's appealing, even if there's another card to be had at similar price and performance.

True, but I only have a single slot board. I need to stay around $100, anyway.
