    It was down earlier.

    Now, for MORE MSI BS:

I apparently don't HAVE warranty coverage because I didn't "REGISTER" the netbook within 30 days of purchase. What the living shit.

Support experience with MSI so far: fucking E+

I don't know about the Wind... but in my laptop was a card or something that specifically said "You must register your laptop within 30 days or your warranty is invalid" or something to that effect along with the URL to register at. Or maybe there was a message on boot up. Either way, I registered within a few hours of getting my laptop and now my laptop is linked to my login info for their site. Makes support requests way easier. Anyway, yeah, probably want to call them and say pretty please unvoid my warranty?

You've got to be fucking kidding me:

[BLOCKQUOTE]Thank you for registering your MSI notebook or MSI All-in-one desktop product.
Below is the notebook / AIO product that you registered.
    MSI Reminds Our Customer:
To complete your product registration and take advantage of the warranty service, you must:
    1. Print out this form
    2. Make a copy of your receipt
    3. Send the form and the copy of your receipt to the following address within 30 days from the date of purchase:
    MSI Computer Corp.
ATTN: MSI NB / AIO Warranty Processing Center
    901 Canada Court
    City of Industry, CA 91748[/BLOCKQUOTE]

You have to MAIL shit in to BECOME ELIGIBLE for repair.

What absolute shit customer service. There is no excuse for this in 2009.

    That looks pretty nice

I was about to go MSI until I got super pissed at their support. If something ever went wrong with it, I KNOW I'd be dealing with it, since I'm the family tech support guy. I don't want to deal with MSI.

IF you haven't bought one yet, HP Pavilion seems a phenomenal offer - and will probably also sell out fast.
