Uh..... We're back to the same issue. Worked just fine last night to defrag and convert the drive, shut it down as it's owner was coming to pick it up, turned it back on this morning to check and it is having the same problem it started with. To recap; Everything is getting power, the hard drive is spinning, but not booting or sending any signal to the monitor. I tried the same trick that worked last time we did this, plugging the monitor into another computer and back again, and that didn't do it this time, green light is on the monitor, the hard drive activity light on the tower is doing nothing, I don't know what happened between last night and this morning that would screw this thing up like this. I ask you all again for some assistance.

the jumper should be taken off, reattached in a different sequence and put back in same original position. heres a diagram to make it simpler

    original position
    pin1 pin2 pin3

    different sequence
    pin1 pin2 pin3
