    It's a 74GB raptor now available to purchase on newegg, the so called "fastest hard drive ever released"

    They have been forsale for awhile on other sites. Simply too expensive right now.

    It's not the fastest hard drive in existence. I know Maximum PC claims it is, but I don't believe it. Fastest IDE drive I'll believe. Fastest drive period, no way in hell.

    But WHY? If you're going to spend that kind of $$, go SCSI.
