The best Passivly Cooled video card available
My wife wants her machine quieter.
Right now I am thinking of swapping out the CPU for a low voltage C2D.
I have better fans. for the case.
And that leaves the video cards.
Web browsing, easy games, and watching videos (on line and DVDs, BD too)
It is supporting a 24" LCD at 1920x1080
What is out there these days.
tks ed

To my knowledge there is not a higher performing passively cooled option than this one.

For the workload described this may be just fine.

Ed, you could also use software to moderate the vid card's fan speed. It might be quiet enough for you, but at least it would be a free experiment. Maybe you wouldn't have to buy anything.
