IE7 Freezes When Saving A Picture

I know I'm not the only one having this problem because I looked around for a solution but I couldn't find and answer. Every time I try to save a picture... after I press save, Internet Explorer freezes

    I realize that fixing the root cause is your desire, but I don't know where to go with that. I can though, offer a couple workarounds:

    Upgrade to IE8

    Use Mozilla Firefox (I have been for 7 or 8 years now)

    Check your antivirus settings, perhaps your AV is scanning the JPGs before allowing them to download to your hard drive, and the scan is hanging or something.

    I upgraded but still the same problem, one thing I did notice is when editing an image, let's say with the Paint program, when I try to save the image, it still freezes. So now it's just not the Internet Explorer but just about every program that can edit an image. I've figured out though that you can just left click the image, copy and paste and then it doesn't freeze. Makes me feel like an @ss knowing this now, but I figured a way around that issue I guess.
