How about proof of a Nexus One-ready AT&T network?

That's probably because it's going to be sold directly through Google, the same as the current T-Mobile Nexus One. They are just adding the AT&T 3G band in essentially.

No they won't. Google selling the phone directly is no different than Best Buy or any other 3rd party selling AT&T phones and plans. Plus the current Nexus One already works with AT&T, just not the 3G band.
