With that said, why would anyone want that design?
I don't know. I guess it's the same appeal that causes the vid card makers to put all those stupid, boy wonder fantasy stickers all over new cards, at least Nvidea cards.

What kills me is they work off of a completely wrong angle when they bling up the cards; NO ONE has a card in their system orientated to see the bling properly.
That is what I like about several of the mATX builds I've done with the mobo sitting on the "bottom".....at least you can see the cards!! Agree with Zuntar, I've wondered for years why the fabricators do what they do. Unless of course now that they realize there is the bling factor, they don't want to go to the expense (lazy?) to retool the layout. When I started playing with this stuff 9 or so years ago I remember ppl putting mirror-like material in the bottom of their rigs so what they did could be seen.
BTW can't remember who, but one of the fabricator's cooler was shaped like a F1 or IRL car. :rolleyes2

I know this is a rather old thread, but I really hope someone will answer.
I could really use some guidance in how to dissemble the card.
I would like to paint mine white instead of read, since my new self build PC is entirely White, with black details.
I am just a little afraid that I'll break the card when I try to open it. I have tried unscrewing all the little phillips screws on the backside of the card, but the plastic cover does not come off.

Siverstone Raven or an Antec Skeleton will solve that to a point.
The Skeleton is a "no appeal" but the Raven 2 has promise.....jut need to figure out what to do to that lid!!
