The color of Life

The intended color of the Life section is a royal purple. I noticed the other day it just looks like a darker blue on my old monitor. I'm wondering if it's just a calibration issue or if more people are under the impression that the Life section is just a different shade of blue rather than purple.

    It's always been purple for me, even on the desaturated screen of my netbook, as well as the crappy old monitor I'm using right now.
