For six years, NZXT has been making some really awesome peripherals for PC builders, do-it-yourselfers, and gaming enthusiasts. We tend to gush over them a little bit here at Icrontic, but it's only because they make such awesome stuff. If they'd, you know, make something crappy once in a while, we could apply our razor wit to them.

But in the end, it's just sad, because we really can't find many bad things to say about their gear.

We've always had an awesome relationship with NZXT; throughout the years, they've donated awesome prize packages for giveaways, just to remind us all that they love the enthusiast community.

Now it's time to pay them back for all their kindness: Check out their Facebook page, "Like" them, and you can also enter their Summer PC Upgrade Giveaway. As they gain fans on Facebook, more prizes will be unlocked, culminating in an "Ultimate Mystery Prize" valued at $1200.

The Ultimate Mystery Prize will be announced here on Icrontic as well!

Get in on this, there's all kinds of awesome swag to win, and say Thanks to NZXT!

Awesome, thanks NZXT! I was lucky enough to win one of NZXT's cases last year at the Icrontic EXPO, and I'm definitely a huge fan of it. It's tool-less, which makes installing parts so much easier than with my old case! Thanks NZXT!

I have the NZXT Hades (reviewed here) chassis, and it is easily one of the best cases I have ever owned. The craftsmanship is top flight, the features are fantastic and the layout is superb.

NZXT is truly an excellent company.

I'm a current user of the Beta and the Beta Evo (reviews linked). These are without a doubt the best cases I've found, especially for the price. I'd have never believed that anything could get me away from the Antec Nine Hundred, but these did. Tons easier to work with, and a much lower price to boot.

Now if only they'd make a Beta that could hold all of my hard drives in a single case...

Unf. NZXT. You guys are the first thing I've "liked" on Facebook.

I would love to see a winner from LAN do a review of the Avatar mouse. It definitely intrigues me.

To clarify, I'm running the Beta and Beta Evo side by side because the Evo houses _most_ of my home storage server. There just aren't enough drive bays in this thing, so the Beta is sitting right next to it housing the remaining drives. The "inner" panels for the pair are removed to allow for SATA and power to run between the cases. It actually works really well, but it's a PITA when it comes to moving the rig. I'd love to see either a full tower version or a variant that dispenses with all but one of the 5.25" bays and replaces them with 3.5" bays.

Of course I don't fall under normal usage patterns, but I can still ask...

Props to NZXT. Love the cases and the peripherals.

All of the NZXT stuff I have first hand experience with has been great. I am reviewing mATX Vulcan case right now and it has some seriously cool features.

If there is a rep to be tuning in my question is:
We have been slapping heatsinks/water coolers on our systems for years and there really havent been any completely different innovations in cases/cooling. Zalman tried doing a passive case with heatpipes directly to the chassis but as cool an idea as that was it really didnt catch on. Does NZXT have any innovative products that will "Wow" us coming out in the near future?

Will there be more gaming mice produced by NZXT? Every time I look at the avatar I want to shove my hand in it!

Who comes up with the case aesthetics because they are off the wall compared most of the mainstream cases but always look good in person?

Love how the A90 has a shifted HDD rack so it is against the door giving you plenty of room for cable management. More cable management for all. Love clean cases.

So loving the new direction IC is making with vendors.

NZXT makes some great stuff, and I'll definitely be considering them for my next purchase. They honestly weren't even on my radar before I got hooked in with Icrontic.

    Nice work, guys!

more mice are in the making...keep a lookout for them perhaps next year : D.

As for who designs the cases, Johnny Hou, our co-founder and product manager designed most of the cases during the first couple years, nowadays we have help from outsourced teams and in-house designers. Sometime we even partner up with modders and people from the community to develop products.

When can we expect the CB FPAN SET to hit the market? I'm tired of using the power switch on my mobo to turn on my rig because the Silverstone case has too short of cables.

For cases with heatsinks, the problem with those is that it's proprietary hardware. The good thing about heatsinks is that it can change when the motherboard chipset changes. A truely innovative all-in-one cooling solution will require the major components manufacturers to get together a develop one. Hope that answers your question : )

So since Icrontic did en article on what we would like to see in the next NZXT case, when can we expect the Icrontic Edition Case?

The NZXT Rogue case is by far one of my favorite cases of all time. I know NZXT has the Vulcan M-ATX case now, but are there any plans to make a Rogue version 2 or similar "Cube" style case, M-ATX or ATX, that allow for heatsinks like the Thermalright 120?

Developing a case can take anywhere from 3-6month up to an year. We're definitely jotting the comments down and trying to do as much as we can in our future cases : )

Man, I'd love to read about the case design process. To see the design process from initial sketch to a production product would be neat as I'd like to know what hurdles have to be overcome.

That sounds like an awesome piece I would love to read.

I just found out about the Vulcan today. Right now I have this Lian Li case and I'm not as thrilled as I thought I'd be by it.

Are there any pictures of the Vulcan next to a normally sized tower so we can see the size difference?

I'm part of a market of "aging" gamers. Still very young (think 20-30), but not enchanted by things like bright colored LEDs or side windows.
Here is what is important to me in a case, in order of importance:
    1. Build quality / materials
    2. Functional accessories (for example LianLi and possibly others provide rubber spacers with hard drive cases to reduce vibration)
    3. Clean sexy style (think Tycho Magnetic Anomaly One, not a 17 year old's 97 Honda Civic with underlighting)
    4. Ease of use when installing components
    5. Compatibility / functionality with the latest technologies/adapters

That being said, I go to newegg.com and I don't see anything from NZXT that appeals. I do however see the Adamas on your website, which does appeal.

Being an outsider with no marketing data to look at from any one company in your niche industry, I wonder if you can shed some light...

    1. What demographic will be NZXTs primary target market in the coming years?
    2. If you are going after people like myself (see above), will we have more options?
    3. Is your industry forced to make outlandish designs with bright LEDs and case windows just because that is what sells?

Thank you for sponsoring, this is really great! Look you get valuable market data out of it on top of sales and social advertising :)

Anne, we'll have a Vulcan review up soon. Magic is reviewing it, I'll ask if he can take pics of it next to another tower for comparison.

Right now we don't have anything in plans for a second Rogue, although the Rogue was well recieved among enthusiasts, it was a very niche market and in the end wasn't a very successful project for us.
