Out of boredom today I installed the Beta and have been playing through the Worgen starting zone, which is very cool, but it seems to crash once every 5-10 minutes.

Anyone else experiencing a lot of crashing in the beta? I know there are still a few months until it will launch but i figured it would run a bit better at this point.

    not been playing bete but just installed the patch to go to 4.0.0 and it sucks! I have lost all the talents on my talent tree and a whole load of skills to. Its like I have been demoted by ten levels on my lvl 33 warrior. I seem to acumulate rage a lot quicker but my health takes lot longer to regain! not feeling it!

    The numerical number of talent points you have was instead replaced by more powerful talents across the board. You also receive abilities you would not have prior JUST for having invested in your primary tree.

    Additionally, it's hard to pass judgment on an adjusted talent tree when you're only level 33. They've readjusted things to make them more balanced around level 85. I'm glad they reduced the number of talent points. It was becoming a bit unwieldy. I, personally, like the change. It gave me the opportunity to change it up.

    If I had been higher level it would probably be better but at level 33 I can really see much benefit and I seem to have lost a lot the more useful skills.

    My Warrior is a Tank so I used to sit primarily in Deffence stance and use Revenge to do damage. If things were getting tough I had a couple of shield skills which increased the chance of shield block so I could use revenge much more. Basically these changes mean that I will have to completely revise the way I fight but at my current level it deffinately feels like a step back.

    It took me a couple hours to get comfortable with my rotations and available skills again. I've been a frost mage for ages, and I noticed I lost a lot of DPS from frost. I dual-spec'd fire, and my DPS jumped up a lot. Additionally, I don't feel as mana-deprived way back when I tried fire-spec.

    Hopefully things will start to feel better and more normal again, Rich. :)

    Sorry, I've moved my main around a lot since I started it ages ago. It gets expensive. I'm on a server where a small group of local friends play for now. If they decide not to come back, I may consider it. ;)
