It doesn't seem to keep track of calories for "other" sports. :/

There is sometimes a delay in posting workouts to challenges.

Right, and the walk I took today posted okay, but my 1.3 hours of Racquetball on Friday has no calorie count associated with it, because Endomondo has no idea how to calculate that, especially since it doesn't know what racquetball even is.

It's okay though. I'll still probably do okay in the challenge, since it does count my biking.

But creatively solving the problem burns less calories than complaining... I should know!

I think this one plays to the fact I run a lot... 544 cals for one run. Was a nice romp through the forest of western Michigan.

We should all be at 2850 by the end of today.

Fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail, fail and fail.

    D'oh.

I'd be a little higher if I actually took the time to log in and track things. :-/

I'm not too lazy to walk, but I'm too lazy to log into their website.

I have the phone app, but it doesn't allow me to record racquetball. It doesn't even have a selection for "other". :/

use tennis? or another equiv sport in terms of calories / hour

I use 'mountain biking' for towing the kiddie trailer, and 'transport cycling' for leisurely rides.

The mobile app actually doesn't have any options that take place in a single geographical location, like a court or a swimming pool. The app seems designed around people who want a map of their work-out, not just to log it.

ah. Well you could use the mobile app as a time, set it to 'walking' and edit the sport/duration later

This does annoy the hell out of me as well. I have bad knees thus don't go running except in the gym on an elliptical (as I've pointed out before). It would really be nice if they could make the phone app more general purpose (like the ability to use the app as a timer then manually enter distance/calories/whatever)

    1. Use as timer
    2. Edit workout later

Editing a workout is easier than creating one.

Well it's the start of the treadmill season for me...too dark in the AM... phone app doesn't work real well on the treadmill so I'm going to start hand editing them.

This is what I've been doing (when I actually get to the gym that is). It's still an extra step that, IMO, should be right in the app. I'd imagine it wouldn't be very hard for them to add either.

I wrote them an e-mail to suggest that they add more sports to the app, and they responded that they chose to do it this way so that the app does not get too cluttered.

I guess I'll just pretend I'm playing squash.

sub-categories would work well here, that'd be my answer to that.

    water
    -swimming
    -rowing
    racquet
    -squash
    -tennis
    cycling
    - mountain
    - sports

Hah. I never really looked at my map after the time I tested out the Android app for our walk. Looks so silly and scribbly.
