ICOK is just around the corner! This year, in addition to the costume party, Magic Tourney, and general shenanigans, we will have an additional special event!

A Coffee Cupping

Annes, what the hell are you talking about? I'm talking about a coffee cupping. The equivalent to a wine or beer tasting, but with sweet, delicious, life blood coffee.

Who's doing this? Chazzano Coffee in Ferndale. This place is completely legit. They turned Brian on (heh) to hand drip (double heh!) coffee and have an incredibly knowledgeable and engaging staff. The French Press I had there the last time I was in the D was some of the best coffee I've ever had.

Where? When? TELL ME NOW! This will be on Friday, 1PM. At Chazzano.

Is there a cost? A limitation on people? Yes to both. It is $8 a person (and perhaps even a tip) and there is a limit of 15 people. First come, first serve.

    Chazzano is coffee science. Seriously. This will be an awesome event. You will learn so much and come away with a newfound appreciation for the noble bean, I promise.

    It's not in Canuckia. But bringing a passport is always a good idea; you never know when an impromptu Windsor trip could spring up.
