My first threat in my history of folding. I've got a little message for you. I've got 2x 2400-M's coming midweek. I refuse to let you pass me

Nice avatar! I guess I'll have to go through with my plans to hijack the three computers the McDonald's down the street just put in then. J/K. Bottom dweller no more I will be. I'm still wrangling with setting up the FAH as a service on an 1100MHz box that I worked on. I'm working on getting it on a friend's 2500 athlon box too. I shall pass you. hehe

yeah i gotta get another computer up gotta get some ram, power supply, and mobo hopefully that will help hold him off

My main box is an Abit board with a 2800+ and a gig of ram
second box is asus board with a 2100+ and a gig of ram
third box is asus board with 2200+ and 512MB ram
    fourth is a laptop, p4, 2.4 GHz, 512MB ram
    fifth is a p4, 2.4GHz, 512MB ram
sixth is intel 1.1GHz Gateway, 256MB ram

I also have it on two other boxes but their performance really sucks and aren't left on much anyway

I'm in the process of trying to talk the head IT guy into letting me install F@H on over twenty to thirty other boxes that range from 1GHz to 2GHz plus. If I can convince him, it's ovah, consider yourself owned.

Until then I'll remain a nuisance on all your threat lists. I had F@H installed on my boxes but didn't know about the flags and had it running it at only about 75%. I ratcheted up the programs to 95% and used the -advmethods, -forcesse, and -forceasm flags. It has raised production up tremendously. I was only expecting to go from about a steady 1,000 point per week production to about 1,200. I was quite surprised myself to see it go up and remain at around 2,000 per week.

Well I just bought another NF7-S (used) so I will be adding another 2+ GHz for the team, depending on the OC I get when I move CPUs around.

Ha! Enjoy your temporary false sense of security while you can. I'm even willing to make a little wager on how quickly I can pass you. I don't see you lasting past august.

Keep in mind, I'm still waiting on an rma from newegg for another 2.2-2.4 GHz of AMD POWAH!

It's kept in mind. I'll be back on your threat list shortly. I have one board/cpu/ram in now and about to order two more. Each is 1.83Ghz duron.

You guys are so lame ;D
    http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/member_overview.php?UserID=53460

You're both on my threats list, but neither shall catch me! Muahahaha! Put a wager on that! :D:D:D By 2008 I think I will have made significant upgrades. :) Heck, I'm hoping to have significant upgrades w/in the next few weeks (but I've thought that for the last 7 or 8 months and it hasn't come yet).

If I can upgrade my efforts I should be able to add:
    2 x 700MHz p3
    2 x 1GHz p3
    ~8GHz of Athlon XP power.
    And maybe another 2 x 933MHz p3 rig.

Most of those are big maybes, but I will definitely try my best to get them folding.

I've probably contributed somewhere between 4000 and 6000 points to Angel Heather. That's more than a couple spare cycles. :) When I get some more machines running I'm sure I'll fold under her name again for a while.

    Tinkers?
Make sure you're using -advmethods and if using the v4 client use -forcesse and if using the v3 client use -forceasm. Also, make sure you have core 1.56 since it's supposedly faster (any little bit helps, right?).

I'm really not much of a betting man at all ;D
Remember my trip to the casino? Losing $5 just reiterated what I already thought--losing money is no fun.

Keep up the :fold: KingFish! I'll be looking for you in 2008. :)

// Edit: Just checked my stats and they've been updated. 2013 is the new date! I'll keep an eye out for you in 2013!
    /me waits patiently.

Another day goes by and still Kingfish is not on my threats list... is that a foot in your mouth KF? I believe it is, oh my.
  • edited February 2004
I'd rather wager on this than the casino anyday. At least these are odds that I can somewhat control.

A good rivalry is always fun.

GHoosdum is coming on pretty strong lately and is on my threats list, but that's sometime in 2005 so I'm not too concerned. The threats that do mean I need to do something rather quickly (or get passed) are from witenoiz and keto. Both are going strong and it looks like I will be but just a small road bump on their path to the top 30 or above.

We need some sort of "official" gauntlet thread to issue challenges.

Along those lines: trick or treat, csimon! :buck:

Yes it is. Witenoiz is white hot-I don't see you being able to do anything about him unless you can scam into doing a lab's computers or something. Keto is only outproducing you by a few hundred per week. Add a good box and you can fend him off. I'm just happy to be on page two of EOC stats for now.
