I had to disable a few things to rule them out from the bug Digi reported above. They're back now. Looks like a legit core bug in the beta release we're using.

It is more than one bug. It looks like THIS happens when trying to edit. First, all content and the DB pointer string IDing where the content was is lost. Second, a box opens, but you cannot get a paragraphing of text to take if you edit-- on save the paragraphing is lost if one tries to recreate a message in the edit box.
we know what's wrong. No need to try to sherlock holmes it. It'll be fixed soon

Ok, thanks. Please soon.... Troubleshooting computers I can do with enough information, but guessing about bugs is weird for me. But the editing thing is driving me nuts absent deletes available.
Announcements makes the "mark all read" button go away. There is also no way to remove the announcement (iirc there used to be an x in the top right corner to close it). Also, as @Lincoln now is aware of, you can't refollow a category you've previously unfollowed.
When adding a new thread, the following message appears, and the site seems to freeze. The new thread is successfully made, but I'd still thought I'd let you know. It appeared when posting my "Chrome help" thread.
It happened only once. Using Firefox. I tried to edit my previous post with additional info, but the post was too long. When i say the site freezes it's not completely true. The comment window grays out, and the links below the comment window doesn't seem to do anything, but retyping icrontic.com in the address bar got me back to the main site, where my thread was successfully made.

If just cache I accept. Don't want to clear mine as of now due to some Steam logins I've got going that I don;t want to mess with.
