I think thats exactly what this is for. And, when you have 30 seconds to pack a visual punch, you dont show little maggot sized character walking around spouting sparks at skeletons. Theres no way you could describe the gameplay in that amount of time.
You have to draw people in and make them want to see more/google it.

although i missed it, apparently it aired during sunday's new Family Guy episode.
This is really what diablo 3 needed, I'm not being sarcastic here. I'm serious, it needed an epic trailer like this, I know so many people who weren't even interested in it because the play style is different but they see this trailer and see that the game still has the epic level of the others.
