AMI Goliath, Megaplex, Megaplex II
Has anyone ever even seen one of these boards? I know they existed, and I might actually pay money for one, even though they (the Goliath in particular)would be almost uselessly slow...
But they supported not one, not two, but FOUR CPUs.
The Megaplexes were Xeon-based boards for slot 2 CPUs, and the Goliath was for the Pentium Pro (Socket 8). But 4 CPUs... on one board... *drool*
And yes, I know there are quad-cpu Xeon MP boards from tyan and supermicro, and the 8xx opterons support 8 CPUs on one board, but any quad-CPU system with reasonably modern CPUs would be way, way, WAY out of my price range.

and for those of you who think I've TOTALLY lost it this time: It's not about the speed of the CPUs, it's about the quantity.
