Pen drive used on mac and pc?

edited February 2004 in Hardware
Okay, my question is pretty simple:

What, if any, kind of Pen drive can I buy that will work with both a PC and a MAC without some sort of large operation (ie formatting) to change the format of the drive itself?

I'm not talking about the files on the drive (i'd be transferring .ai (adobe illustrator) files, and i know those will work on pc and mac.

Thanks.

Does it have stupid bouncing "Look at me, I'm happy to see you!" icons on the bottom of the screen?

    If so, then it's OSX

Well, they're not bouncy, but there is a row of shortcut to program icons at the bottom of the screen. I noticed some peoples zoomed in bigger as their mouse went over it (mine didn't, but they are on the same OS, prolly just a setting)

    That's OSX.

From what I've googled, most if not all are OS X (some OS 9 and maybe OS 8) compatible. Firewire and USB 1.1. When you're buying them it should say if they're compatible.

A little Google goes a long way...

Just Google cross platform pen drive and see what you come up with. Here are a couple of matches to get you started:
