thats right folks ... my internet connection was down for the last few days so i was ACHING for something techy to do :D

so i finally broke down and purchased a k8t neo and a 3200+ ... and some new ram to boot ... i dont wanna push it just yet but at stock voltages w/ a zalman 7000 ive got it at 2100 so far at an astonishing 14 C !!!!!! ... and thats with ambients of around 30-32 ...

so later tonight after reading up a bit more on the board i shall be pushing it as far as i can .. results to follow

edit:// i should mention that thats the temp under full FAH load ...

    Typo about the temps? Did you mean 34C or 44C even?

    Not really. With S939 on the horizon, and DDR2 support probably not far off, current 64 bit parts excite me, but I don't feel compelled to buy them yet.

    all right i'm sorry then. i agree btw. why spend money on it now when you know you're gonna have to upgrade later. at least they don't pull an intel and not tell us anything.

    That's a rhetorical question, right? I think I ask that question every time I upgrade any computer system or even just single components.
