What: A 9v9 TF2 tournament, simple amateur competition.
When: July, dates and times of games will be updated here as I get them. One competitive match per week from July - August
How: A team of 9 of us takes on another team of 9. We all dedicate to a single class for the whole game.

Keep in mind if you are a sub there is a fantastic chance you are going to play. Not all of us are going to make every game. However, it was first come first serve for set positions. So come the first game, this is the tentative roster -- again, it will likely change by July.

Oh my god I would love to but I'm on a two week vacation in the beginning of July. If I could jump in around the 12th of July (13th?) I would so do this.
I'd be in to do Sniper/Spy for this, however I'd have to know well beforehand what match times would be. Are there slots for substitutes?
I would be up for this. I prefer Heavy, but can play pyro as well. Those are my two highest played classes.
In for engi/scout/pyro/heavy/medic (preference order)
Tentatively in. My schedule is undergoing some changes at the moment and I won't know for sure if I'll be able to regularly make it. I feel it's highly likely I'll be able to though.
My preference would be Demo>Medic>Heavy>Every other class.
I may be able to do this. Well I will be able to do this, but it will come down to desire :P. Let's see where it goes.
I'd uh like to do sniper/scout. I can pretty much do anything but medic. Also I have done HL a few times, so if you need help with what to do ask me anything.
Any input as to whether or not I can still participate if I'm not back until July 13th/14th?
Sorry I abandoned my own thing here, I'm way busy with work and baby right now. I may not be able to lead this, and I will happily push over if someone wants to take over (Although I'd still want to play, just not organize).
That said, @primesuspect, let's get you in and assume it works. If it doesn't we will try to find a sub for you when it comes to that. What class do you want?

I might, key word might be in for medic, not my best class but I am passable. But on my avalibility I need to see what my work schedule will be if and when I get one of the many jobs I applied for.Actually forget it, My college schedule would get in my way mid season.
Or prime you could be whatever thanks to digi's flexibility. I know you like engineer.
We need a few more players if we want to register which we would need to do TONIGHT.

This may or may not be a wash for now. I have tried and tried to figure out how to make our team eligible for the 9v9 tourny. Registration just isn't working, says we have no eligible teams. I have something of an IRC support ticket open for a few hours now, but I need to get some sleep.
I'll see what the deal is in the morning if possible.
Send a support ticket that just asks them to change their registration to something that isn't a convoluted bunch of bullshit.
Out of desperation I deleted 3 (the last 3 to in) to see if exactly 9 verified players would do it ... nope. I'll invite you back now.
My irc request has not been responded to yet. Registration should be closed but it appears to open with a single slot left. I'm out of ideas.
At least we have a team for the next tournament assuming we can register for it.
