Just checked my stats at Stanford. :eek2::rant:

After I regained consciousness I got to wondering if anyone else has ever had a similar experience. :shakehead

EDIT: Whole team is hoarked - looks like they are only reflecting stats as of last update (?) :wtf:

I was kind of wondering why I was only at 32 points from 54000.

I just checked the stats at extremeoverclocking.com. and Team Short-Media has moved up 2 places to 7th. But there are no points for the last 24hrs, or last 7 days.
Same glitch? This is a good one

Yup, Stanford glitch got passed to EOC, looks like it got passed with a bad update file or server at Stanford or points DB is borked. My ID on Stanford server shows no team membership and no pointage, just a header and note that I belong to more than one team, at Stanford....

Stats sites with an earlier pickup have stable stats.

I'm glad I don't get excited about stuff like this  but really now - that shows I dropped from 5th place to a tie for 7th. I wanted top 50 in a few months but now that I have it I'm going the wrong way. :screwed: Jack

Server has been "taken down for maintenance" at this time. Vijay has been notified, and I think he had a net admin pull the box offline-- or Stanford security pulled box out of linkage to web. When team number 9 in top 100 teams shows as PEBCAK ID1OT I think we can guess what happened-- major mess.

    Headline:
Team Short-Media pulls 11th hour come from behind leap to 6th place after releasing their hacked 25,864 WU's from genome at home held in queue. Oh well, sounds good anyway. Should we frame this somewhere?

Hmmm.... Well, Standford Stats server is off the web still. Expect stats here to be not updated where we can see them until it is back up. The STATS on EOC and Statsman are corrupt, and Arachnid has stats from last update gotten there still showing for individual user stats, and is showing no team rankings.

Note that other parts of Folding are working fine, this kind of problem is one reason it is good to have servers that do not do too many things at once and instead have ony a few major task sets per server.

Yeah, it is finishing rebuilding(gathering in stuff from acceptance servers) now... Let's see what happens when I post this...

Well, sig right now for me is at a MINIMUM of 192 points low. I will see what happens in 24 hours, as the other stats servers get back up to date. Right now Arachnid looks to be most accurate for real standings....
