Anyone every heard this guy? I just found out about him tonight. So he was Jimmy Page's first choice for singer for Zep - turned down the band offer to try a solo career. El oh el.

I'm listening to a Finnish melodeath band called Tracedawn. The melodeath helps with the extra fail at work

I just started listening to Portishead since Pandora seems to think they're exactly like UNKLE and DJ Shadow. Some of their songs can be kind of annoying but Sour Times is very good.

Holy, holy crap! I cannot believe someone just mentioned Harley Poe. Literally, I cannot believe it. This makes me so insanely happy Ardichoke, you really have no clue.

In fact, today I was just listening to Calibretto's last album before they split.

Fantastic sir, a bajillion bonus points to you!

Finished a few audiobooks so I'm back to podcasts until my next Audible credits hit, today I plowed through some Gamers with Jobs. They do a great job and I kind of get the vibe that their community is similar to ours in how close-nit they are and how they get together to hang out.

Yeah, one of my coworkers just introduced me to Harley Poe last week. We were on our way to post 2nd shift breakfast and he played some of their stuff.

As for right now, I'm listening to Anathallo - Floating World. Very interesting music, I need to pick up some more of their albums.

I'm assuming this is a cover of The Clash's "White Riot?"

White riot - I wanna riot
White riot - a riot of my own
White riot - I wanna riot
White riot - a riot of my own

Black man gotta lot a problems
But they don't mind throwing a brick
    White people go to school
Where they teach you how to be thick

*If so I'd definitely be interested in hearing the Murphys' cover of it.
