Expo 2018 seafood boil & BBQ
I wanted to clarify what the "creole food truck" that was written on the order form actually is. It's not really Creole and it's not a food truck, so...
This is my friend Andre (he's the grown-up)
Andre has many talents. He's Santa Claus, for example
Andre also cooks. He's from the south.
Andre is going to be doing a good ol' low country seafood boil for us: Crawfish, shrimp, lobster, crab, Andouille sausage, corn and potatoes all get boiled up like this:
And it ends up looking like this:
My friend Dre is also going to be grilling some ribs and chicken for those who can't or won't eat shellfish. There will also be sides of green beans and mac & cheese, all homemade.
$15 buy-in gets you a plate guaranteed - mix and match. If you're not doing seafood, you can take some extra ribs and chicken. I almost guarantee there will be enough food for leftovers and seconds.
That's the meal for Friday the 22nd. He's doing all the work and you get to enjoy the massive convenience of having a real boil brought right to you. All you have to do is pay up and eat!
(Also, tip the guy, would you?)
Comments
This has shifted me from "maybe" to hella in.
Pretty sure I said so on the ticket form, but if not... IN x 100
Information that would've been useful when I bought the ticket. :P
The food was on the order form? I don't know if I saw it or if I ticked it, since it's not in my confirmation. We pay later, not with the Expo ticket order, right? Can't check since the order form is closed.
I think we've pushed Eventbrite to the limit, guys.
The Eventbrite form asked for intent, not a final order. We’ll set up a formal signup this week. We have, indeed, pushed Eventbrite to the max.

My body is fucking ready
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww yeahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!
Question: Joseph eats very little, but he'll probably have some chicken and ribs. Should I just let him eat off my plate, or do I have to pay $15 for him?
Oh, in that case, in.
There's not a chance in hell that I'm missing this.
12 AND UNDER EATS FREE off your plate
That works for me.
In for ribs and chicken. Cannot shellfish.
@sazbean and I are in like a couple of white people eating Creole
Sounds Amazing!
I'm just going to say in for @UPSLynx
Tentatively in
@primesuspect do we need to "in" here?
In, duh
Seems like no.
So IN...
