Oh, we are fine here, got some storm surge on the coast and some power outages, but it wasn't nearly as bad as past years. I haven't responded because I went to the beach the day after the storm and was without a computer or reliable internet service for most of the week.

Tropical Storm Olga left remnants which are heading N and spreading out as they go.

    Weather Channel:

The remnants of Olga are enhancing rainfall in an already soggy setup across the South.

This system will spread rain into the Midwest and East this weekend.

Rainfall is needed in parts of the South, but some flash flooding is also possible.

    OK, not a hurricane but:

"A "code blue" weather warning has been issued for Sonoma County (in California), where more than 86,000 customers are expected to lose power. A code blue advisory is issued when temperatures drop below 38 degrees or when the wind chill reduces the effective temperature below 38 degrees. Sonoma County Supervisor David Rabbit advised people not to sleep in their cars."

That quote is from the weather channel.
