Awesomenauts—the console only MOBA-come-platformer from Ronimo Games has been slated for a PC release in the near future.
For now all that’s been revealed is that a PC (and subsequent Mac) port will soon bring the most elite (and awesome) band of two-dimensional mercenaries to a whole new market and add some new characters to the roster to boot.
Though PC MOBA games are hardly in short supply, Ronimo are banking that their unique 2D take on the genre will prove as popular on PC as it has in its current Xbox360 and PS3 iterations and with beta codes to be available by the end of the week, it shouldn’t be too long until we know if they’re right.
