Bethesda teases with a new trailer for The Elder Scrolls Online

The Elder Scrolls Online

Bethesda gave gamers another glimpse at their new Elder Scrolls MMO with a new teaser trailer unveiled at E3.

Sadly there is not much to see, and certainly no game footage, but we do get a brief showcase of The Elder Scrolls Online’s take on the traditional fighter/mage/rogue RPG classes with everyone’s favorite axe wielding Nord, an elven sorceress and a shady archer character taking center stage.

Given the ambiguous races of the background characters in each shot, it’s also possible this is a quick look at the three confirmed playable factions in the ZeniMax Online Studios project—the Ebonheart Pact, Aldmeri Dominion and Daggerfall Covenant—but it’ll take a bigger Elder Scrolls fan than I to confirm it.

  1. MiracleManS
MiracleManS Nothing about this appeals to me as an Elder Scrolls fan.
  2. MAGIC
MAGIC A completely animated, storyless, one minute trailer doesnt appeal to anyone about anything.
  3. MiracleManS
MiracleManS I meant the concept. They're losing the entire spirit of the franchise.

SpencerForHire The whole reason I never finish these games is because at some point I realize they aren't multiplayer and I won't be able to go do things with my friends... Not that I'm going to buy this in MMO form either... I'm just saying.

trooster89 I agree. What Elder Scrolls fans really want is a multiplayer Oblivion or Skyrim. Not a MMO. Something more akin to the Borderlands is what I would have liked.
