Celebrate the Battlefield 3 Double XP weekend with Icrontic and Division G

To celebrate the launch of the Armored Kill expansion for Battlefield 3 this weekend, EA is offering double XP for players. It just so happens to coincide with the recent grand opening of Trinet’s Division G gaming center in metro Detroit, Michigan, so they decided to hold a “Double XP Party” this weekend, September 15th.

Starting at no0n on Saturday, you can BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) to Division G in Ferndale, or join in on the server, as Icrontic and Division G members will be playing all day and night for Double XP (only premium BF3 accounts are eligible for double XP this weekend). You can RSVP on the Facebook event page.

If you don’t have BF3 premium, it’s available today for $59.99, includes all the updates, and all DLC.

If you can’t make it in person, join in on the server to play with fellow Icrontians and Division G… ers? ians? Divisionites?

That and the server is not yet running AK, doesn't run CQ and is a B2K server running SQD DM currently...

12 Sep 2012 ~ 4:13pm Tushon It's like most repetitive FPS games; there was a initial surge of activity while people were leveling and getting achievements or w/e, but for me, you can only play the same maps with same rule sets so many times before getting bored. I wasn't a CS player for this reason, I imagine.

13 Sep 2012 ~ 12:22pm boasist Starting around 1pm EST on Saturday we'll all be on there gaming in Armored Kill. If we need to we'll roll back the maps for more players. But I'm hopeful we'll do good with the Premium players.

The entire BF3 collection I mentioned earlier is now only $49.99 today....not bad at all.
