Sony continues to commit to deliver new and innovative experiences to gamers by adding several titles to its growing independent developers portfolio for all PlayStation platforms, which includes the PlayStation 4. At GDC, Sony made their commitment clear with several options for developers to publish on PSN, including a flexible self-publishing process, a low barrier to entry, an accessible SDK and various funding opportunities such as the PlayStation Pub Fund.

Adam Boyes, Vice President, Publisher and Developers Relations for Sony Computer Entertainment America says,

We’ve got an incredible team on the ground that talks to developers every day, and these new games we’re announcing are a direct result of the team’s proactive outreach and focus on working with top independent developers. Our process and approach in working with developers has evolved to incorporate a lot of flexibility into the process, including the way we pursue and discover new talent, help them with funding solutions and work together to deliver their best games on PlayStation platforms.”

The games that has been announced so far are Blacklight: Retribution, Primal Carnage: Genesis, The Witness from Jonathan Blow. Spelunky and Divekick will be on the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita. The Vita will have an exclusive with Metrico and a handheld debut of Limbo later this year.
