Marvel vs. Capcom Origins gets a release date

The throwback mashup of 90’s arcade classics Marvel Superheroes and Marvel vs. Capcom has been granted a go date of September 26th for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The game will feature updated widescreen graphics or original graphics with arcade cabinet frames for that ol’ nostalgia feeling.

Marvel vs. Capcom Origins features characters from both original games, and features both the one-on-one gameplay of Marvel Super Heroes (Infinity Gems are still here), and two-on-two à la Marvel vs. Capcom. Online play is supported, as is spectator mode. There will also be 8-player lobby support.

Marvel vs. Capcom Origins will be available on XBLA for 1200 MS points and PSN for $14.99

not to be a grammar nazi, but it is spelled "à la", although i guess your keyboard is not set to quickly do obtuse accent... XD
also, definitive buy, even though i still have the original Marvel VS Capcom on my Dreamcast!
