New Releases for the Week of Upside-down Gunnery

New Releases for the Week of Upside-down Gunnery

Not much usually gets released during E3 week, but we do have one title here worth mentioning: Inversion. This is an over-the -shoulder shooter with some physics puzzle elements. The protagonist is a big city cop who has lost his family during an alien invasion. His wife is killed, and his daughter goes missing. The plot follows him and his partner as they search the city for the lost child.  It’s a fairly typical game of its kind, with the exception of the gravity changing elements. The alien technology has dramatically altered the way gravity functions throughout the city. Some places have gravity shifted to a different direction, some areas are lacking gravity entirely, and still others are periodically shifting around, causing the landscape to shift and tumble. The player will have to navigate the protagonist through unpredictable environments while gunning down bad guys. In addition, the player will have access to a gravity gun, which will allow employment of one’s own gravity-based attacks and tactics.
