PowerColor Devil13 Radeon HD 7990 revealed

PowerColor has revealed the world’s first and only dual-Tahiti XT GPU: the PowerColor Devil13 Radeon HD 7990.

In its default configuration, the default clocks are set to the same 925/1375MHz core/RAM as a standard HD 7970. If that isn’t enough, with the flip of a BIOS switch, clocks are ramped up to 1000/1375MHz—close to the full speeds of an HD 7970 GHz edition (which has RAM speeds of 1500MHz).

PowerColor Devil 13 Radeon HD 7990 heatsinkThe Devil13 brings a solid design utilizing a high-efficiency thermal solution and solid components. A trio of fans sit atop a massive heatsink with ten(!) heatpipes to maximize heat dissipation on the Devil13. It also includes 12+2+2 phases, digital PWM, super cap, UHB and PowerIRstage to enhance stability and provide reliable voltage with minimal conduction losses and lower temperatures under load.

Included with the Devil13 is the Wiha SYSTEM 6 Tool Kit, containing a SoftFinish telescopic screwdriver handle and bits to handle just about any kind of screw a system would use, all in a convenient roll-up pouch.

Currently, neither pricing or release date has been announced, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see this card launch north of $999 given the current state of Radeon HD 7970 pricing. Or maybe for lulz they’ll introduce it at $666.

shwaip Do these dual gpu cards have the same issues as crossfire/sli setups? (microstutter, some games not supporting it, etc)
  2. Thrax
Thrax Yes, they're just CrossFire/SLI on a single board with a PLX chip tying them together.
