SEGA has announced the second episode of Sonic the Hedgehog 4. This time around, Sonic will be joined by his good friend, Miles “Tails” Prower. Sonic and Tails will be taking on two legendary rivals and, from what the trailer is showing us, it will be Dr. Robotnik (“Eggman”) and Metal Sonic. The best part of all this is that you can get your hands on Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II today. You can get the game on PlayStation Network and Steam for $14.99 and on Xbox Live for 1200 Microsoft points. It will be available for iPhone and iPad tomorrow for $6.99.

If you already own Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode I and plan on getting Episode II on the same platform, you will be able to experience Episode Metal, a special unlockable story where you play as Metal Sonic as you go through four reworked Acts from Episode I to learn how he survived the events at the end of Sonic CD. Sonic the Hedgehog 4 Episode II and Episode Metal will be available for Android this June and for Windows Phone in July.
