Thermalright is at it again. Today, we’ll be taking a look at the third iteration of the hugely popular TRUE heatsink—the TRUE Copper. As you have probably already guessed, the TRUE Copper is a 100% copper version of the “Ultra Extreme”.
We took a look at the TRUE Black back in August and were very impressed. Although a fantastic performer, the “Black” was just a black nickel plated version of the original TRUE with some extra accessories. This time, we have a complete copper design that could potentially change the performance characteristics of the heatsink quite a bit. This may not sound terribly significant, but since the TRUE is arguably the best performing heatsink on the market, even a small improvement is something to get excited about.
Thermalright is no stranger to copper. Many of their original heatsinks were 100% copper, like the popular SK-6 and SK-7. They have also had some copper and aluminium twins over the years as well, like the XP90 and XP90C.
