Atlus has just released a new set of image assets for their newest entry in their Trauma Center line of games, Trauma Team. They have also finished their Developer Featurette by posting to their website the final issue, entitled #11: Doctor Medals and Specialist Mode. The Dev Featurettes cover the base mechanics and added features found in Trauma Team.

Trauma Team continues the familiar gameplay found in past Trauma Center games. Your objective is to head an operation on a patient, which involves using the Wiimote to use forceps to remove shrapnel, clean wounds, stitch people back up, and other tasks found in an ER room. However, unlike the previous games that jump straight for medical fiction, Trauma Team tries to ground itself in a more believable environment. Also, as the name implies, it no longer features a single medical genius that is a master of all, but instead splits the specific expertise into the various different characters on the team.

Trauma Team will be available for the Wii starting May 18th at a MSRP of $39.99, with a pre-order currently available on Amazon.
