Help unlock Assassin’s Creed III gameplay trailer

A teaser trailer for Assassin’s Creed 3 has been released today and it got me really excited for this title to come out. I just love the feel for the game already and this is only a teaser.

Ubisoft wants to show us The World Gameplay Premiere. But they need our help. They want us to go to www.assassinscreed.com/unite, which takes your to their Facebook page and from there you can  Recruit FriendsTweet #AC3, and Post To Timeline.  They wants us to reach 1,766,000 and I believe the gaming community will do what they need to do just to see this gameplay trailer.

Ubisoft have come out to say,

Gamers can channel their collective excitement for Assassin’s Creed III to band together in a valiant effort to unlock the world gameplay premier of Assassin’s Creed III in the Unite to Unlock campaign. This program asks gamers to enlist their friends through Twitter and Facebook in a unified effort to reveal the gameplay of Assassin’s Creed III.

Basically Ubisoft wants you to advertise the game to all of your friends for them. Well played, Ubisoft, well played indeed. Assassin’s Creed 3 is scheduled to be released on October 30, 2012.

Canti I can't wait to do their advertising for them. Brilliant.
  2. SmallIvoryKnight “We’re definitely supporting PC,” he told the green IGN offshoot. “We love PC, but I think it’ll be PC with a controller. I don’t see us investing hugely in a mouse and keyboard setup. I think if you want to play on PC and you want to play Assassin’s Creed, you have a controller.” #AC3, Everybody.

It's like they took everything that Valve does with their games and marketing ploys ... and turned them around backwards and other wrong ways.

JBoogaloo Not a bad idea at all, I like the approach. I think that on a certain level it may also help them gauge the enthusiasm, or lack thereof, with fans of the series and newcomers. It could prove to be beneficial, hopefully we'll get to see how.

ardichoke Meh, I've been over the AC series since I started dealing with the DRM on AC2. The only way they'll get me interested now is if they re-release everything since AC2 DRM-free.

Canti I wonder if it will be like the first two or if it will be
    fun.
