Win a snail from SAPPHIRE

Win a snail from SAPPHIRE

SAPPHIRE Select Club Snail PC contest

SAPPHIRE is offering up a unique contest today: A complete gaming PC in the shape of a … snail?

Yep, a snail. The… ahem.. standout case is definitely going to be a, erm… conversation piece. Lian Li is certainly known for making distinctive cases, and their PC-U6B is in the shape of a snail.

The PC they’re giving away is a fully loaded system based around the Lian-Li PC-U6. The CPU is an Intel 2500k CPU, on a SAPPHIRE H67 motherboard. The GPU is the SAPPHIRE HD 7950. There’s also a 256GB Kingston Hyper X SSD and 4GB of Kingston Hyper X memory. The case has been modded heavily by Tom “Snail” Portsmouth, a popular case modder from the UK (the worklog is here).

To enter to win the system, all you have to do is join the SAPPHIRE Select club, agree to the email newsletter, and you’ll be automatically entered.

Good luck!

GHoosdum Every morning, I see hundreds of snails littering the grass and walkways. I even step on several, resulting in a sickening crunch. I can't help but think of that image when I see this title.

Every morning I also win a bag of shit from my three dogs as I walk them through the field of snails.

    NLichtman Thanks for this. Entered.
  3. Garg
Garg I love Lian Li for their tasteful, restrained design and their exceptional build quality. I guess I'll forgive them for making a snail every once in awhile.

Cowries are pretty sweet, anyway, as far as snails go.

You can blame the Quebec government for that. "Everything must have French on it...English is optional"
