Digital Dave over at WinXPCentral has posted a cute little tweak which he says can lead to increased LAN/Internet performance when using the onboard Nvidia NIC on an ABIT NF7 board.
– Right click “My Computer” and choose Manage
– Select Device Manager
– Hit the (+) sign next to Network Adapters
– Right click over NVIDIA nForce MCP Controller and choose Properties
– Under the Advanced Tab choose Optimize For, and to the Right hit the down arrow and choose Throughput.
– Reboot and see if you also notice a nice speed increase in your connection speed.
