Fuel Cells Weigh Anchor

As public awareness of hydrogen fuel cells focuses on car engines and other land-based uses for alternative energy, efforts to bring hybrid power sources to the high seas steam quietly — if slowly — ahead.

On April 8, Mississauga, Ontario-based Hydrogenics, which designs and builds fuel-cell systems, announced an agreement to supply a 10-kilowatt power module to HaveBlue, a Ventura, California, company developing patented hydrogen-related technology for marine applications.

    Zero1 You know I can see myself in 10 years driving a fuel cell car and then I get into an accident and all the cars around are blown to bits... ah what the future can hold.
